Oh shush, I dislike his voice, his lyrics and most importantly the music he makes. Nothing to do with predispositions, I simply do not enjoy things he makes

Ok i will amend that statement:



I dislike his lyrics when he gets too self indulgent, of which I think The Wall and The Final Cut are the worst offenders.

Ah, well that's fair enough. I'm personally not the biggest fan of his lyrics on The Wall either but I think the lyrics on here are fantastic.

I might need to give this another proper listen because 1.5 is awfully low for any Floyd album but I distinctly remember hating it. We'll see...

try to keep an open mind and just accept the fact that roger lets loose and holds no emotion back...it's dramatic but everything behind it is real

Well, The Wall has one of the worst song titles I have ever come across



"In the Flesh?"



And a lyric that makes me want to eat my own foot



"The prisoner who now stands before you

Was caught red-handed showing feelings

Showing feelings of an almost human nature"



But his lyrics for the most part don't bother me.

The Wall has some of his worst lyrics. But his lyrics on Animals and Dark Side of the Moon for example are excellent.

His lyrics are pretty excellent most of the time IMO, but his vocals on The Wall are pretty horrible whereas here they're a lot stronger and more suited to the music, which is one of the reasons why I prefer this over The Wall.
