I FEEL like I should love this but I’m not quite there. Maybe I need more time to digest. Sounds good but I’m new new to this band so I don’t think I’ve had a chance to fully digest. And between life being extremely busy and distracting and so many good albums flying out all at once, it’s been difficult to give any of them the attention they deserve in such a short span of time.

Yeah I was saying something about that and in the Rouge thread before this dropped. I’m not a big music theory guy, so I’m sure there’s some logical reason for this, but this kind of shit is not normally my jam. These guys just have it. I have no idea what “it” is but they fucking have it and the vast majority of these emocore bands don’t have “it”. Static Dress doesn’t even really do anything particularly original, they’re just extremely fucking good at what they do.
