I mean listen to Into Everlasting Fire and then Higher Coward. The jump in quality on ALL fronts is incredible. Drumming, vocals, guitar/riffs, even the crushingly hopeless and evil atmosphere. No ill will towards DoP but their potential wasn’t even half realized at that point

I'm not sure where I would rank DOP among the first four albums (3rd or 4th probably), but I do put it over everything else in their discography, except for maybe Majesty and Decay.
