Literally the only Sleep Token song I can remember (cause I downloaded it on a playlist) is from that Eden record which is a full blown ballad... haha

So if any pop artist decided to include one metal section into some of their songs, would that make them metal?

@Beardog I can only remember the opening song from Eden because it has like the most hilariously awful riff of all time lol

@hawks It's mostly just very empty music to me. But some of the things they do are nice to my ears. Sad that they are just horrible songwriters, but that ballad is quite consistent.

"when Sleep Token goes heavy it's actually more heavy than Metallica in their heyday"

this is one of the funniest things I've ever read on this site

What a thread. Tundra talking like guitar-based music hasn't been solved since like the late 90s.

Either Tundra is a great troll or he's just warped. My guess is the latter.

if he's a troll he's not a great one because everything he says feels like obvious rage bait. he's just so committed to the bit at the expense of looking like an absolute fool to the point where I can't tell if it's serious.

Yeah true, but people react to him so he's doing something right with his troll job lol.

I see I didn’t miss anything important.

And ya tundra go ahead and listen to Painkiller and tell me that’s not metal, you fuckin moron. Id actually love to see Vessel and company try to tackle covering that, I’m sure that would be real interesting.

Only thing of value here was people telling you to go to therapy and heck saying metal should be killed if that’s it’s future

fwiw I recommend therapy and medication too, my mental health has been a lot better since

the narcissism thing still gets me because I've been around actual narcissists all my life and if anybody in this thread fits the bill it's tundra. an ego like that has gotta be clinical
