Let's not get crazy now lol DAMN washes More Life.
Drake was always a rival on a mostly commercial and pop-cultural basis. He also used to be a pretty good rapper, but Kendrick was always leagues better.
They were rivals over the soul of hip-hop, not actual ability as the beef showed.

I love the drama of it all. Wayne would get absolutely washed just like he did against Push

like wtf reason does Wayne have to diss Kendrick this is ridiculous, why wasn't he this vocal the last time the Super Bowl was in Louisiana and he wasn't picked? Esp since his hits were a bit more relevant around then

Y'all act like Wayne isn't the best rapper of his generation lmao.

I think he was sadly kinda pushed into believing a twitter narrative from Drake stans.
Wayne's mind is pretty damn cooked, his performances nowadays are atrocious when he actually shows up to them. When Kendrick was announced, Drake stans saw it as a proxy for their lost-war and so they started drumming up "how dare Kendrick steal this from Wayne" narratives and I think Wayne just kinda went with it.
Wayne, to my knowledge, has never given us a reason to think playing the Super Bowl was his dream or anything. Even still, he's a long way from performing at that level. I hope he gets the help he needs, but in no way was he ever going to get the call for this lol

I think Kendrick AND Drake both had good disses, I feel like people on Sput just have Kendrick's cock rammed so far down their throats that they act like the whole thing was a blowout and Kendrick is an untouchable God figure in rap

Or one of them is infinitely more authentic than the other, and that’s important to people. But sure we can talk about sucking dicks if you want

dude kendrick's ego is insane lol. granted how could it not people when your fans and even casual listeners act like you're the second coming

Kendrick definitely has a big ego, but that was quite literally a lot of the tension on MMATBS and is also what "Man at the Garden" is about.
That being said, Drake is 37 years old and has people calling him The Boy.

A rapper with an ego!? Say it ain’t so!!

I think it's just a very good rap album. And that's more than enough, it doesn't have to be a super deep concept album all the time.

Saying Drake is better than Kendrick any year, any second.. is complete nonsense.
