Funny Man is so Godflesh it's not even funny. Come to think of it, this record as a whole sounds hugely Godflesh inspired.
Mix in some Swans and Daughters and boom you got this beautiful abomination

This band was always Godflesh inspired tbh haha. Agreed with the Swans and Daughters name drops. This album is growing on me with each listen. Maybe it's on par with the debut idk yet. Masc and Frownland are my two fav tracks rn.

This might have some Fudge Tunnel in there too.

griff could probably just tell us the main influences although some of them are obvious
When's the last time he posted here?

It's been years. He's got better things to do than check in on us lowly peasants lol

They really did it again, it's easy to be bias with all the hype but it's still so fun.

pjorn wiped all his comments smartly so he can’t get cancelled for anything he said as a male on the 2010s edgy internet, respect.

I guess he didn’t want any of his controversial comments to contradict the wholesome messages of chat piles music
Seems kinda weird to consciously cut all ties with a community with old pals that helps you discover and occasionally even discuss music but I understand if his priorities just changed
I think I’ll always drop in here every now and then until I kick the bucket (case in point I just took about a year break)
Although rym is indisputably better for discovering and cataloging music

Or people change and grow and one's interactions with one community at one time don't necessarily reflect their current existence. Seems kinda whiny for an anonymous user to complain about another's lost anonymity

Honestly might be for the best to cut ties with this community 😂

I thought this album would bring some life back to the site but this review only has 17k views so far. This place is straight up dying and it's a damn shame it's so broken that new users can't even join the discussions. Plus the lack of avis for so many iconic users really bothers me and has for quite some time now.
Sput has coders for Christ sake, just give the keys to one of them and fix this damn place up a bit, all I'm asking.

It sucks but it is what it is. We’ll keep her going until we can’t anymore.
I’m just speaking for myself but I’m gonna keep posting here until this shit gets shut down completely. I really consider a lot of people on here friends.

That's the way I feel too bro. Just hurts seeing this place go under, so many cool people here and I wouldn't discover nearly as much awesome shit without Sput.

It ain't gonna get shut down. Mx just needs to cut ties and let Sowing and/or Willie take over but I don't see him ever just shutting the site down.

[2] Sowing is the only real one who keeps in touch with this place on a consistent basis, he should have the rights.
(No shade to Willie, he's cool too but I don't see him around nearly as much)
