you are encouraging two of the users most known for far too long and numerous posts to continue dominating the thread - are you sure you know what you are doing?

‘mean... maybe if female singer/songwriters were better, there'd be more female representation on best of lists. It's just a fact that men are better’
I would say ‘nice bait’ and all but that’s a little too transparent even for bait
And nah fuck that Colton731 fella, I’m only interested in what the og Colton would think

my thoughts are that johnny taking doof to task over his folk artist picks only to unveil for the 50th time this year his roster of obscure japanese women epitomizes himself just slightly less than the way doof got pissed at johnny’s ribbing and yelled “fuck this!” and left

ah yeah Neko Case, my favourite Japanese artist

Yes it does. I'm settling on a 4.5 it's just a sublime album front to back. Can't rly pick out a weak spot. I think Illinois and other albums have arguably higher highs, but this just works so damn well as an album - very much like C&L in that regard.

Suddenly I’m not sure. Once all the usual Sufjan instrumentation comes in on javelin (song), I like it way less, and that’s kind of how I feel about the album. But lemme see
