they should give it the Runescape treatment and clone+amputate a version of their database up to and including, say 2020, for the use of old school subscribers. everyone else can carry on as is = everyone's happy

well yeah, I just meant how they weigh the sheer volume of ratings to be important, to an extent… they do that, right? New releases receive more attention right out of the gate than some historic albums ever will
