The interview is so deliciously awkward and British I love it
That they sponsor a football team from their home town is mega cute balls

leap into the lightning is growing on me a lot. really like that song, altho like most everything else here its still too streamlined for its own good. rous random low is so dope lol

Same for me too. It feels like the most earwormy of all the hooks here

They mastered the streamlined songs on NITAEIP imo. Maybe they're purposely writing for the age of IG and TikTok? The songs they're putting out lately are super short and not wasting any note.
Would be nice of they got more scatterbained again
But still, I very much enjoy this for what it is

this has grown on me a tiny bit but i have also dropped jailbreak and goldfish entirely from the tracklist because both those songs suck ass lmao. goldfish in particular is so fucking bad
changed the flow around a bit too moved dead wood in front of octopus since one of this albums biggest problems for me is its pretty frontloaded. threw void on there after feed your soul too since that song whips ass (albeit a bit out of place but this album needs more diversity anyway tbh). makes me wish the guitars on this album had the bite the way that song does bc they sound pretty weird here

It'as actually growing a bit to me as well but I'm still more intereseted to listen to other albums / other single from them.
on a completely unrelated note, Rou dance moves on SMOF mv are legit

The album is holding up pretty well so far. I only miss a really good feeling of closure at the end. Like, every album before had good closers. Here it just kind of stops after a good little banger

I like this album. Their poppier music works for me, though.

Really happy for them, you can tell it means a lot: https://youtu.be/WUhEQ09QasQ
But also ??? re the earnestness with which Rou calls this album progressive
