>It’s nice to spread awareness of important issues effecting the community such as this. For a moment there I was talking about music… good thing that I seem to be cured of this ailment. It’s a relief in all honesty.

I enjoyed the first listen of this so much that I’ve been revisiting their back catalogue, because although I enjoyed Isa when it came out, they’d dropped off my radar a bit since then. Highlights so far are Vertebrae and Axioma, but I’ve genuinely really liked everything I’ve heard. Extremely consistent quality, lots of creative riff work, and I’m looking forward to digesting their last couple of albums in the next few days.

This really is something unique. Can't believe how innovative these guys still are this far into their careers. They blow me away.

Isa to Axioma are my favourites of old, with Vertebrae on top with Ruin and Axioma close after. This is starting to settle and, goddamn, I'm in love with modern Enslaved again. Almost makes me feel as a superior human being, sorting this overload of auditory stimuli out as a cohesive, beautiful and intriguing album. It's good to be me.

Haha, ok. That shameful comment have it's context. Was jamming Heimdal in my office today and at last I was totally absorbed. None of my colleagues care about music and least of all metal. Back home, the Heimdal marathon continued with some good beverages and I got carried away further. Superior in relation to my colleagues? Totally off topic, but damn, was I happy to put all the pieces of this album together and feel what I felt when I heard Vertebrae for the first time.

I’ve listened to everything post Isa pretty thoroughly now...
I’d put Ivar Bjørnson up against anyone in terms of the sheer amount of quality riffs and guitar lines he’s written. That main melody in the title track to Ruun is incredible.
