The harsh vocals are just as annoying to be fair, probably even more so for me. I hate that they're shoe-horned into practically every song, even the slower ones. I quite enjoy tracks like Holy Ghost Spirit for the slight pace change, but then they throw in an absolutely awful harsh verse and ruin it. They're that bad.

Listen to Palimpsest, its their most catchy and the wank is much more tolerable.

btw this album is obviously too fucking long but it was not that bad. Who is clean singing with Tillian on most songs?

Edit: oh it's the Eidola singer. I think it will be a good T replacement.

"It’s simple Ollie, every time you listen to this album you need to listen to Kezia once for Tilian’s rapey energy to be counterbalanced"

Could have cut the comment off here, and it would have at least been funny.

"perhaps DGD find another singer and return to form now"

I'm not one of the big "bring in Andrew to replace Tilian" people, but his voice is different enough from Tilian's that it should actually force them to change their formula a bit, and that can only be a good thing at this point.

Why do you all think Mess sounds bad on this? He sounds the same as he has since DBMII.

i do think he sounds slightly different from the dbm2 days. slightly more proficient with this style of screaming but its hard to put my finger on exactly how

I don't know man, he had that higher pitched thing going on at the time that I really liked and miss.
