It’d be tighter and better if they maybe changed the track list and removed the 3-4 worst songs and made them bonus tracks or something. Just like HttT

This is probably better than I’m giving it credit for but I just didn’t connect with it much.

Don't really know why I skipped this when it was released, digging this big time.

I'm having the same issue as with Fleet Foxes' Shore, where it's a very good listen when I do, but I retain nothing from it

when radiohead writes an album so bad they won’t even put it out under their name it’s a bad sign

I love all of tracks 4-9 and Skrting on the Surface. The others are pretty good or just alright.

I am grateful to this disc because it made the algorithm point me in the direction of Melt Yourself Down which is the complete shit.
The Opposite is a drum banger
I think the disc is just too long. at least 4 tracks should just have been cut. 2 out of 4 are singles though, so what do I know.

somehow I only just realised this exists

It’s sad that Ed O’Brien revealed Radiohead has been on hiatus because of him and that’s the primary reason The Smile exists since Jonny and Thom still wanna make music together

and it's even madder cause this is probably the sort of thing Ed O'brien has been dying to make for like 20 years

Been going back to this pretty consistently since it came out, still love all the immediate highlights like Free in the Knowledge, Thin Thing and Floodgates but Speech Bubbles has been the biggest grower.
