Honestly Providence is the only track that's "difficult" to get through and that's only because the dynamic shifts about a hundred times and even then it's worth it.

I can't enjoy any of these tracks individually; I have to listen to the full thing. And even then it isn't as satisfying as Lift Your Skinny Fists or Slow Riot.

oh yeah me too, actually no I can listen to East Hastings on its own but in all probability I'd just put the whole thing on anyway.
Also both this and the vinyl are 5's I just don't want to look OTT so I haven't rated the vinyl.
And Josh Slow Riot is 100 times easier to digest than this, and has the bands best track (Moya).

You can't get better than this album, in my opinion. I listen to this a lot late at night, when I'm gonna fall asleep, I get some weird dreams when I do that. Or, when I'm driving I'll give it a listen.
It's deep stuff, it's crazy how such minimalistic songs mean more than millions of songs with lyrics.
This is on my top 5 albums of all time.

People make such a big deal about this but WTF is this A guy like talks, a lot not singing but talking then we get some boring mellow instruments are stupidly long songs. Fuck this band. I have no idea what you people see in them

Well tbh I don't enjoy post-rock in general so I guess the problem may lie there lol, but still though I can't imagine how people can love this. Tis all, no need to convince me or slam my music I'm just sayin
