I was talking about the album, sorry for being vague.
I greatly enjoy all Floyd output before it, mind.

I love The Wall, but it is also the sign of the band losing steam. Floyd flourished when songwriting was a collab, and that showed on it. Still a great album.
My favorites go WYWH > TDSOTM > Meddle > Animals > The Wall > The Division Bell
The rest are whatever. I loathe The Final Cut.

Pika, I honestly don't care for the original Floyd sound. I feel like they hit their stride with Meddle where Gilmour found his footing.
Edit: I enjoy some of Atom Heart Mother though. It's a bit inconsistent, but has some strong tracks.

BE is overrated imo. I love the rest of PoS discog. Maybe RS1 and BE are the albums that I like the less.
And my points in this album are not refuted. This is not metal, it's boring, repetitive and seems an Einard's solo. And I don't care if the rest if the band are OK with him being the absolute starring of the album...
Leprous has changed and not for good. The change was clear on Malina, but TC, Malina and Pitfalls have some great songs, not this Aphelion shit.

I like some of their older stuff. I just don’t think it’s their best sound, but clearly most of Sput disagrees which I understand.

I think Leprous are a very hit/miss band for me, I was never on the train of them being the new saviours of modern prog, and I think it took me to see them live once at Euroblast, where they played real good, to see they were a legit band.
I have a indifference/really like mix between their discs, dig most of their singles, fanboy over Baard as the top tier drummer he is in my books, I think Pitfalls was their best disc because they stripped that patina of "we gotta prog because we gotta prog". This is kind of a beating up of the same tree, so I enjoy it for what it is, but also don´t see many melodies. 3.0 would be a fairer assessment but I am fine with 3.5 as I gave 3 to Malina and I like this more than Malina.
ANYWAY - when I took BE and The Wall, the conversation was on "album" discs going beyond their supposed limits - that is, being a collection of tunes, and rather a development of a story with coherence, in those cases represented through very good, very cool visual imagery in my opinion (if you have never seen´s BE rock opera performance with the live orchestra and Gildenlow playing the characters, you are missing out big, in my humble opinion).
I fucking love The Wall´s movie, but I can hardly count on my hands the times I spent playing the disc only.
