Same Deftoned, maybe is because i didn't listen to alot of shoegaze outside Slowdive , Cigarettes after Sex and the influence it has on Steven Wilson. This druming is really nice, the atmosphere and the vibes are also nice, the voice, while is not perfect, is good enough for a laid back relaxing experience with some nice crescendo moments. It may be cliché but I still think is nice enough to enjoy it and have a nice time with it, let's see how it goes with time.

Nah this is second fav Deafheaven and I’ve been following them since inception. Sunbather is the only album better IMO. But that’s just because I’ve had time to emotionally connect. In time, this might even surpass it, who knows. But this album and Sunbather are both Deafheaven at their most focused and consistent. RtJ could be there too but it’s too muddled in its production so I give it an honorable mention. NB and OCHL didn’t know what they wanted to be and it was to their detriment. They’re at their best when they make the music they wanna make and they don’t care
