Diadem is probably my least favorite aside from their ambient one. Just sounds like an under-developed version of them. I still like it but I think they really found themselves with two hunters and black cascade

I am not surprised. They have consistently poor takes.

I keep meaning to return to this for a third listen. My second run through almost convinced me to bump this to a 4.5. I just keep falling back into Colors II and Infinite Granite; they're like quicksand.

Thrice Woven was a bit of a mess with no huge payoffs. It was a stepping stone for this album though, so nice to hear they improved on the shortcomings of TW. They've clearly gone a new direction since Two Hunters/Black Cascade era, but it's a welcome one for sure
