This is one of the best albums I have ever heard (including Machine Head's The Blackening, Slayer's Reign In Blood and Rise Against's The Sufferer And The Witness)

Thrice and DT are completely different bands, they shouldnt even be compared (i love both btw) and this is the only thrice album ive yet to listen to (other than their newest this year).
