Depends on if you're willing to listen to this album without the influence of his previous works bleeding into your opinion. It's apparent some are down on the album because it forgoes a lot of Lantlos history.



There's a couple of interviews with the guy and he has stated that Wildhund almost didn't get done. He ran into a lot of software and recording issues that caused him to revamp some of the ideas. I got the impression from his interviews that he wasn't completely happy with the end product because of all those setbacks. So taking into account what he did accomplish with the album, I have a difficult time not recognizing how good it still turned out to be.

Omg was this good?? I think I gave a couple listens when it was new but it didn’t captivate me the way Melting Sun did so I kinda forgot about it
