I enjoyed the Netflix special a lot at the time, never listened to the songs on their own though.
Gonna see what that’s like now… I wonder how much of the vibe is too stuck in lockdown mode or if the songs still speak for themselves…

Think my favorite tune here is "Goodbye", sounds a bit like a demo of itself and I wonder if a different (let's be honest, better) vocalist couldn't have done some of those transitions more justice but idk it's a bit of a songwriting tour de force, works flawlessly as a penultimate album thing

It's a little too James Taylor sensitive-guy for me but there are a couple really good lines, like "the whole world at your fingertips, the ocean at your door" fuuuuuuuuck man

People’s disdain for this is truly bizarre imo. You’d think many had never seen a piece of campy musical sketch comedy before. Genuinely hope everyone’s doing a little better now
