Man that would be incredible if they dropped two EP's and an album over the next 12 months

It would be even more incredible I'd they brought back the feels and the riffs and ceased with the 10 minute whispering in elvish interludes

So glad they’ve gone with Seth Manchester again for these new releases. His alternative mix of De Doorn was far superior to me and had much more of a big room ambience (I thought the original version sounded too ‘flat’, particularly the drums). No offence to Tim, and I know he’s just left the band, but I hope they don’t use him again. Speaking of which, I found the reaction to him leaving pretty overboard; he’d been involved for one album and a touring cycle, but people were acting like he was a founding member or something. Perhaps they just liked his live energy.

Ps I love Amenra’s interludes, especially De Dood In Bloei, and this new track is great.

Yeah this new single sounds great, awesome production for the quieter parts, great atmosphere. Not that much of a fan of the heavy part though, I would on the contrary say that that production is too boxy and flat

This band's mastery of dynamics between soft and heavy parts is superb. I think they would be up there with Isis and Neurosis when it comes to that if only George Clooney's Nespresso ads didn't spoil youtube music so much jeez... Now I hate coffee even more.

the new is great but the heavy part sounds a bit thin for their standards to me

Forlorn, from the 2nd ep. It is superior to Hedean

Forlorn is excellent, so Hadean is the sound on the first EP and Forlorn the second then?

Forlorn is a song at least. But that guitar tone is baffling

Listen to their first 3 albums, it definitely has that crusty guitar sound from those which is kind of the point of that EP out of the 2

New single out for De Toorn. I have to admit I kind of rolled my eyes throughout the whole thing because it feels like a massive retread of everything they have done recently. Slow build, spoken word, false climax, slow build. Even when the heavy part came in after nearly 9 minutes I was like "oh we are doing this again?"

Imma be honest Talisman hit kinda hars with that ending. Collins screams are harrowing. Though i do hope that they stop doing these sort of songs
