This really gets me way more than Philophobia. I just feel spoken word albums hit me way more with rich colorful instrumentals. Philophobia has none of that. Also, the vocals sound much better on here imo.

I’d say the ‘Getting Older’ and ‘Most Important’ peak higher for me and the two Strap albums are mostly consistent, this just happens to be more consistent than Philo and that’s part of the reason I prefer it.
Also I just think I prefer latter Moffat vocals in general
