I yeah dude...those noise trail you guys brought here are def different ...more chaos driven for its own good. The debut is a little less chaotic but even so....nothing like the post sludge approach on here, which chaos is def not the first word that comes to mind.

probably a basic take, but this sounds like the doom side of Converge's sound mashed up with some Sumac expanded into a complete album, straight down to guitar tones and production. all great things IMO

There are certainly strong hxc leanings, I didn’t immediately think of Converge though... Zao maybe? Mastodon is there. Breach perhaps. I’d even say Neurosis before Converge. I don’t know, you could trace it to any number of things unless the band themselves have cited specific influences.



Then again I suck at things like this so maybe you’re right. I just see Converge mentioned and immediately shake my head disapprovingly - they get mentioned everywhere. And just because I didn’t hear it myself, doesn’t mean it isn’t a thing.
