lmao It is true but also fuck that. ERR’s solo material is sterling and Thou’s stuff is similarly amazing, though they’re completely different genres. Their styles just mesh in a really interesting and compelling way here.

Honestly, considering how hyped ive been for this for like a year and how much I ADORE both acts I feel like im the only one that just feels like my expectations have not been quite met. I loved the Roadburn set this was born from. It was on my Birthday and just absolutely crushing and Thats not to say I dont like the record asI do. I really do. But I dont consider it a 5. Its a 4 for me which is still great of course but 'Marked for death' 'Heathen' etc are 5s and this isnt for me at all and I dunno why it isnt hitting me quite as hard....yet... Maybe over playing 'The valley' before it dropped has done it since thats the best song on here by a mile and it all couldnt have been as high as that track. I just expected an instant 5, blown away shizz i guess.
