I just still see this being an absolute mess of an album. I like the opener and that’s about it. And even it goes off into left field the last half. I’ll listen to the first half of the opener from time to time. But god the rest of this is just atrocious and painful

i was pretty pessimistic after first listen but this actually had some really nice tracks - especially the title track which was a great late-album standout. unfortunately about 1/3 of it is pretty unlistenable, and 'ursa major' in particular is whiny and horrible.

The quality gap between C&L and this is pretty ridiculous. Tracks 3-13 I just cannot get into for the most part. At least the first two tracks, last two tracks, and bonus song My Rajneesh are good. I also quite like the whole instrumental part in Landslide.

For an 80 minute album, this doesn't 'drag' anywhere near as much as some have said, or at all. It's incredibly cohesive and it flows really nicely.
