did not rate their Black Moon ep on the one pass i gave it, and i see their name come up so much in the same circles as unexciting nu-gaze acts that the Association was not a good one :[

I'm a little worried that they've seemed to change stylistically since this album. While still fantastic, I don't think anything they've released since even comes close to the highlights off of here for me, probably the back half of Take Me With You and Yawning. It feels like they aren't interested in building towards crescendos anymore and that makes me sad. I hope the new album still has some extended instrumental sections.
