@botb: I mean they're different evils, but both evils. I think that the nepobaby is probably more harmful to us in the context that we are American, but the nerds are often in community with other nationalists as far as the Euro bm scene. The nationalist nerd is still dangerous, because that's likely to mean that he'll trade racist memorabilia and opinions, support racist bands, and create space for the "ballsier" people that are more likely to do direct harm to minorities, because those people exist. It's not just a physical or material war, but the war of ideas as well. Creating space for nazi ideology to thrive or even just go unchallenged is an indirect act of violence by itself. Also, on the idea of what's worse, are we really gonna act like HHH being a nepobaby and a landlord makes her any kind of a big fish in the sea of capitalist exploitation we live in? If she were to disappear out of history tomorrow, nothing about the world would change. She's just using her unfair wealth to play weird music, and it's very annoying that she has a massive leg up over working class artists that have to work to support themselves and get money for gear, merch, tour, etc, but that kinda thing is really ubiquitous in the wider music industry outside of bm. There are even lesser rich kids that are all up in DIY punk spaces.
