I remember checking a couple of their songs a few years ago, pretty good progcore stuff. Nothing overtly unique but definitely a fun jam from what I remember

Word, I'll check that in a few then. Thanks homies. I always get Earthists mixed up with that band Earth Groans lol. They have a song called Avarice that straight up rips off The Devil Wears Prada song Outnumbered and it cracks me up. It's so fucking blatant.
Also Steaky what's up with your dig? I feel like you've told me about them before but I can't remember for the life of me what they're like.

"They have a song called Avarice that straight up rips off The Devil Wears Prada song Outnumbered and it cracks me up"
honestly never noticed that before, but yeah I can definitely see that now haha... still love me some Earth Groans though. Just throw them on for some stupid breakdowns and stuff

Earthists are basically Japanese old Erra mixed with Novelists lol but it's sweet. And Coletta were psychedlic poppy post hardcore but they dropped the post hardcore for this new album basically. One of the best style changes I've heard, they pulled it off very well. It's super dreamy and smooth

Haha damn Ty that's hilarious. It stuck out like a sore thumb to me, like within seconds I was like this is a fucking TDWP riff.
Oooooh smooth psychedelic pop you say? Consider my interest piqued.

@Bandit If you want progcore with catchy cleans check The Artificials

Yessir The Artificials are cool too. Good call though, I should definitely spin their stuff again.

Also if you jam Earthists, just jam their first album. Second album kinda ass and doesn't have the catchy hooks like the first one does. I have no idea why it has the higher avg of the two.

The second album is good too tho, just has more duds and that shitty feature from Kyle of the Afterimage

Word. Will report back lol. I'm going to jam the rest of this Coletta album before jumping into Earthists.

Earthists is one of the worst band names I've ever heard

Let's make a band named Airists bloc
|

These single word djent band names are gonna kill me one day. Either that or the dm and bm bands getting their names from Dr. Seuss books

For real. I'm tired of the single word djenty metalcore bands lol.

I'll take "Earthists." over "Time, the Valuator"

lol, nothing quite like the 'something,' the 'something' named bands
Are you still looking for catchy core with mostly cleans, Bandit? If so, I know of a few things you may be interested in:
Wovenwar - Wovenwar (catchy metalcore with almost all cleans. This was a side project of As I Lay Dying band and clean vox of Oh, Sleeper while what's-his-face was in jail for the whole trying to kill his wife thing)
I am Abomination - Let the Future Tell the Truth (catchy technical mxc/phxc with pretty much all cleans)
Arcane Roots - Blood and Chemistry (mathy phxc with some harsh vox but they lean on the cleans more, I think)
Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non Existent Places (jazz/prog/phxc with all cleans. Some tend to hate on the vox but I really like them)
Children of Nova - Complexity of Light/Impossible Landscape (almost all cleans proggy phxc)
Apollo - We Must Be Feeling the Full Moon (phxc with occasional harsh vox but cleans dominate most of the songs)
Might not all sound quite like this, but I was going more off the clean core portion of what you were asking for. The first set probs has a more similar vibe to this than the second set but all are core related with mostly cleans, so who knows? Maybe you will like one of them

What a guy. Thanks Ecnalzen.
I've heard Wovenwar, but don't remember much about them. I am Abomination... hmm I remember liking some song from them that was a year, like 1797 or something like that? I dunno been a looong time since I've listened to them. Haven't heard the rest so I'll have to give them all a shot.
Thanks for the rec's brotha :]
