"Grimes, Lil Uzi Vert, and Pharrell feature on Blink-182’s new album"

They don't mean this one right? Never gave it a proper listen, I'm afraid.

Yeah this is a mess but has some phenomenal songs and is approximately 2000% better than California

It's insane to me how this and California have the same average. This has some shit songs, but there is so much more to enjoy here

Being better than a shit record like California is nowhere near a high bar to clear lol, this album is average at best compared to any of their earlier stuff and it's clear there's an X-factor missing from their chemistry ever since Tom left. Pretty sure they're going to bring him back soon, Travis is all but confirming they need to do it. They should just keep Skiba on second guitar for new stuff, overdub parts and vox/backups and they'd be magical I bet

Rowan - I was joking. I do realise they didn't mean this album.

As for the rest: I've made numerous attempts, liked a song or two, but the whole thing does not hold up.

I do like the band, will always be sentimental about them, and the news about Mark was very sad to hear. Still; I have no debts to them or anyone else to pretend, we're all too old for that, I think.

I never thought to post this here when I made this. I made a mashup of Blame it on my Youth and Good Things Fall Apart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlkT81zpguY

The fact Hoppus doesn't have the decency to tell Skiba if he's still in the band or not is uniformly shitty. Dude pulled this band from the dredges only for Skiba to be left without a clue about his future in the band while Hoppus talks about reuniting the OG Blink.

Really disappointed in Barker and Hoppus for this. Just tell Skiba where he fucking stands.

Dear God it's Tony Martin and Sabbath all over again.

Skiba brought literally nothing to the table, Mark was dealing with cancer and Tom is his lifelong best friend lol, I am willing to bet peeps on the internet care a lot more than the actual people involved tbh
