“Legacy”
Unknown Rooms-Lite?
Seriously captures the same vibe and is much more memorable.
I don’t mean to shit on the album too badly, I still like it, and I totally get why everyone here digs it, I just feel it’s kinda redundant within the context of her discography.

You guys don’t feel like she’s going over ground she’s already covered? I just don’t feel like there’s anything here that’s unique from what she did before.
That’s why I liked Chelsea so much in the first place. Apokalypsis through Hiss Spun is a trip and she evolved so much as a musician. I just don’t feel that with this record.

This is only my second C Wolfe record, after Apokalypsis, so it's new to me but that doesn't count.
Quite bombastically dark, like it so far!

Liked the record, but her voice is a bit too samey for my tastes in tracks like Dirt Universe. Sounds like the whole universe is indeed full of dirt.
Ok, silly joke, but she does overuse that particular register on this record.

Yo...album is very good. Listen to it at night, driving or something...it is also my second...but I was all about Hiss Spun...check that one for a more "dynamic" range...hehe...just get ready for some witchcraft...

Nice, I could do with that! Maybe I'm more into that side of her. We'll see!

Hiss Spun is amazing. But it took some spins before I realized it.
Same with this, still think it gets somewhat boring.

I can understand the 3's. I still like it but it isn't as dynamic or moody as her past works even though Apocalypsis is my favorite of hers.

Damn Ega...do you drive? This hit me driving back home from the countryside at night. Luckily my daughter was asleep lolol
Tbh&f its as dynamic as Emma Ruth f.e.

Haha, I guess my references come from an ancient time where music media was a physical thing that was spinning in space-time.
Also cars are evil.

it's a refinement from Unknown Rooms, that's what most people have noted and what she was going for, not as the next step to Hiss Spun.

I'm a-okay with that. She can go for any sound she likes as long as she produces this level of quality

I kinda feel like Unknown Rooms had stronger singer-songwriter-type songs. These songs are kind of repetitive and one-note (especially vocal-wise) and try to be atmospheric, but just end up being boring, for the most part (at least, to me).
