As much as I really enjoy The Eraser, this is his best and most fully-formed solo effort yet.

Same. This one has the most replay value of all his albums imo, and his best.

He should collaborate with Boards of Canada, or they should tour together or something. Especially if Radiohead aren't making any more albums or like 1-2 per decade from now on

I've come to the conclusion that Last I Heard is a lovely track, Traffic has a stronger hook than I first thought, and Runwayaway would be far better without those chipmunk vocals

Yeah I only gave this a few spins. Not convinced it’s worth more than a 3.

I didnt realize at first that the short film was done by the same choreographer as the numbers in Suspiria. My friend has seen a live production by them and I guess they straight up just use a slanted stage to achieve this madness

The short film was cool from a technical standpoint and super urban and British from a narrarative standpoint lol

'Digging: Fever Ray - Live At Troxy'

I'm not huge on live albums, but this one piques my interest. Thanks for the unintentional heads-up.

^^the knife/fever ray are exceptions for live album stuff cuz they always do new versions of old tracks and expand upon new tracks, definitely worth a peep.

Yeah I love when a band updates an old song live to make it sound like it belongs on the latest album
