Yeah I found bmbmbm to be too caustic on my first listen but I think the album would miss it if it were gone

bmbmbmb is really good apart from some of the vocals which get very annoying honestly

Giving this a first listen. Feels like a lot of blue balling for a climax that never comes, will probably have to spin it again later.

Listened to the first song. If the whole album is like this, AOTY.
|

Bmbmbm is a highlight
|
| |
yeah that track was great

Ugh this has sooo much potential. I think the climaxes are just a little underdeveloped but from what I'm hearing I really think these guys can make something special, they are missing a little something to take them over the edge. Love the energy and how frantic this is

Bmbmbmb reminds me a lot of Swans.

I had that reaction. It isn't, so it won't be.

Yeah ditto for me. The album has its weak spots but it's a solid 4 nontheless.

Listening to the first track now. Vocals are hilariously bad but the music is great.

I’m glad the vox are doing something unique for the style, do we really need another standard phxc vocalist

The vox aren’t that unique, it’s got that crazed neurotic schitz thing going on though, which works well.

Yeah it's Mark E Smith and David Thomas

It's not growing, it was a solid 4 but it turned into a weak 4...

Can you plz give me some examples of recent artists doing stuff like this in the genre? I feel like if your examples are just from two artists from the 70s then you’re stretching it a bit, and it’s not like black midi sounds exactly like those bands anyway
|
| |
I assume that is for me^
I was talking about comparable vocalists, not bands.
