Ok I'm going to concisely display my issues with this album

>too long

>no clear direction

>all riffs sound the same

>all songs for that matter sound the same

>the clean parts are totally unnecessary

>the only good thing about this album is the vocals

After many months of not listening to this album and then returning I had realised that I had subconsciously succumbed to peer pressure in order to like this. I tried to make myself believe that I liked this when I didnt, that explains the 4 rating before. Through my most recent listening of this album i went from (1) kinda liking it cause it's so heavy (2) start to HATE the quiet sections (3) start to find the overall heaviness really obnoxious and tiresome (4) bored for my life cause of how FREAKING LONG it is for no pay off. I've learned a lesson from this though, it's ok to not like shit other people like, kinda obvious but atleast I'm aware of that now.

The wine I drink is never sweet though...it takes time to sink, taste and appreciate...(you know like Converge and some bands you need to learn how to like them, but yeah it's def okay to dislike wine)
