I can't picture Doof liking Copeland. That's so far down the Sowing-extravagant-romanticism-core rabbit hole. It's like an album that was made specifically with the purpose of deriving a Sowing 5, which is typically the kind of stuff Doof despises.

I just figured sensitive crooning/string-laden verses/electronic fuckery/lyrics about fate and the universe did not equate to Doof enjoyment, although I happened to think it's one of the decade's best so I'm glad you don't hate it outright, at least.

Don't Settle is such a critical song on the album for me. I think without it I don't consider it a borderline classic. All the songs are 4/5 material but that's the one that sends shivers up my spine every time.

Really love Don't Settle but I'm still convinced it's the weakest of the first five
unrelated but just had a bit of a breakdown when that crash in "Fool's Game" came in early today... it's like fighting against the entire world at once, losing, succumbing, before realizing it was on your side the whole time. fucking kills me emotionally
