I like Crowder for the most part, I find his edgy humour pretty funny. But how he handled this was pure cringe, and it betrayed that his Change My Mind segments on campuses aren't actually good-faith efforts, it's just him picking on children for our entertainment. At least that was my take-away from that episode. Just look at the desperate tactics he resorts to when he realizes he dun fucked up.



I can't find the full episode rn, this is just a hard edit. It's worth finding though, it's quite entertaining.

im not super familiar with him, i just know him as the little bitch that pushed an old guy from behind, and goes to college campuses with an annoying and shitty way of arguing (but unfortunately none of these kids seem to have any debate skills, or at least not the ones he shows). i know him as one of those "im just being objective, bro! i just want to have a conversation, bro, but all these libs are so crazy and hysterical, bro!" types.

My main problem with him is he's not open to changing his own ideas, he just wants to convince people of his own POV no matter the cost, which I think is quite dishonest. He's an asshole no doubt but he's pretty funny. He's not a bigot though.

He doesn't DESTROY Crowder per se, he's just the only young person who remotely holds their own against him, and in doing so catches him completely flat-footed. If Crowder was prepared, this would have been a much better debate, but the point is Crowder knows he's just preying on dumb children, so when he happens to face someone who's read more than 1 book, he looks like a cringey asshole.

yea this 100%. well, i mean i have like a dozen problems with him but that is a glaring one. he just comes prepared with a bunch of out-of-context stats that help his claims, and of course the vast majority of college kids aren't studying up on research and statistics which undergird opposing stances. but yea even sometimes when they are able to muster a good counter he just prevaricates and gives zero ground.
