Just redownloaded this to spin a few more times. I really got into this around the time new age filth was dropping singles. That little eruption around the 2:00 minute mark in A Lesson In Lust is awesome and makes me think of protest the hero bloodmeat.

great song. listened to this today and i feel mostly the same as I do but I will always stand by, any issue i have about this band's discog (minus lacking significant innovation between releases, that's real and valid) could be remedied if they simply took longer between releases lmao. everything up until Lesson is strong af. i like that this album has a darker tinge to it than the rest of them
