Reread your review after listening to the album, Sowing. Bang up job, an excellent, poetic analysis.

Thanks Veldin.
It was awesome to awake to tons of new people freaking out over the stream. Now that it's out I'm excited to say: (1) 9:27, W&B, and Michael - holy shit and (2) I tried to warn some of you about this album's soft center. Don't worry, it will grow on you and you'll realize that this album's heaviness lies in its atmosphere not sustained screaming.

Brother, Sister and Catch For Us still top this imo, but this is probably my third favourite now

This. I was just explaining the same thing to Streetlightrock. Took me a while to fully come around to the middle section but it was well worth it

2nd for me just above Pale Horses but I can see this, with the ep, pass B,S, with some time.

Let me just say that I love Fig with a Belly Ache. And whoever dissed Thrice as boring wow rude.
Just listened to this album once and I love it so far (no surprise here) but I'll definitely need more time to fully appreciate it. Standouts for me are definitely the opener and Wendy and Betsy but that's also because they're so in your face and loud. The more nuanced songs definitely need some more time for me to let them grow on me which they almost certainly will.
Also Manchester Orchestra, Thrice and Brand New are also some of my favourite bands.

Well it's instantly my third favourite, slotting nicely between Foxes and A->B. The hype is real.

Wendy & Betsy might be my third favorite right behind Michael and Julia. Love the line, "WENDY: We could start the 3rd World War! // BETSY: But then what good would scripture be for?"
