I revisited this band and the Lumiere ep really grew on me. Some real nice shit going on with that ep. It really makes this album seem incredibly inferior and lame tho.

Yeah Lumiere is better on relisten for sure. I still prefer this album though. Sad we didn’t get more from them

Agreed, but it does seem like his unclean range is shown off more in this album more frequently. Along with considering brand of sacrifice, I wonder if his expansion of his unclean range came at the cost of being out of practice singing? Idk just a theory

huh what a pleasant surprise i dug this a good bit more than i thought i would. expected this to be pretty patchy and that may bring itself out on repeated listens but first run through i honestly liked everything here to varying degrees, even if it doesnt scrape the heights of lumiere (w the closing duo coming the closest)
