this is pretty good, standard stuff from them. a bit samey and predictable. i liked at war with reality a bit more. production holds this back a bit for me, super muddy.



really dig daggers of black haze, wish they had more classical touches because they work well. and the ending trio ends it on a nice note. really love the main melody in seas of starvation. in death they shall burn is super catchy and the mirror black has some nice emotion. all in all, pretty good!

You should give The Nightmare of Being a listen if you haven't already. It's probably my favorite of their post-reunion albums (unless their new one somehow manages to be even better).

Hmm I strongly disagree with the summary, this is way too straight and standard melo death fare to be akin to their first two. It is pretty dynamic and has more personality and urgency than the strictly by-the-numbers At War with Reality though...
