Just found out the vocalist had a heart surgery 2 years ago...as a 23 years old men. Some lines are about that. Also (correct me if I'm wrong here, I'm not from the states) he grew up in Kentucky in which drug/pain killer addiction is relatively spreaded. So he had a girlfriend whom he watched getting slowly addicted to heroin and overdosed 3 times. White Lighters seems to be about that. At least partly. Great lyrics!

But what surprised me most was that both the guitarist and drummer weren't in the band on the last record. Okay, yo might get lucky and find a guitarist this good as a replacement. But stiking pure gold twice and finding this drummer as well? Crazy. Can't think of a 4 man band right now where every single member is this good where you keep listening to the album but can't decide whose performance is the best.
