there were actually quite a few inaccuracies, which is understandable seeing as it's a hollywood film. but some of the events from the movie were heavily dramatized or total fiction.

i think he gets arrested onstage in miami in the film, which didn't really happen. he also wasn't kicked out/fired from whiskey a go go for doing the oedipal line in the end.
