This is basically Domination part 2. It's pretty good tbh. May bump a bit in the future.

Really enjoying this lately. It’s a pretty great return to form imo.

Every time this shuffles up I perk my ears, oh what's this great band? But then for some reason I get nauseous after about half a minute.
I don't know, I'll talk to my psychologist about it.

Is this better than their opus “Illuf Divinim Insanus”?
|
| |
yea easily
This is mostly a continuation of the other stuff they did with Steve Tucker, which is my favorite era of the band

Steve Tucker era rules hard and might be the most underrated stretch of albums in th ehistory of death metal!!!
But this is hardly a continuation of that era. Too many chugging and groovy parts. Like trying to follow what was modern 10 years ago. One signature feat of the Tucker era was weird, experimental and even psychedelic guitar play. Nothing of that is to find on this. This album plays it rather safe, except for the "experimentation" towards Deathcore. This is a good album but way below anything of the original Tucker era...

I'd put this above Heretic actually

I don’t think this is as good as any of the previous tucker albums but it’s a step in the right direction after Illud

Thank you Illud for being the album that brought Steve Tucker back and had him create this piece of acidic monster with Trey.
Be sure to listen to the version Trey mastered himself as it reveals a lot of the genius Rutan's production had partially buried. Not an easy album to get into but it's not the problem of the album but the listeners not having enough focus these days and rather willing to be instantly mesmerized. Trey still has it and "K" is an unique addition to band's admirable discography, crappy "I" included.

I didn’t know there was an alternate master, know how I can get that?
