Trying to replicate CC's guitar tone is a nightmareeeee.
So much gain and chunk m/////
|
| |
Yeah they have some of the best guitar and bass tones in the game. That G# tuning or whatever it requires mad skillz to get tight and they pull it off so easily.
Also looove their studio vids. I go through them like once a year lol.

"idk why but Torture seems lame to me after the first 3 tracks. intestinal crank, followed home then killed... ehhh"
Torture has my favorite CC track, which is track 5 on that record... As Deep as the Knife Will Go
That track fucking RIPS

Btw, I'm kinda sad that I'm also seeing Cannibal in place of Immolation on that Decibel tour.. not that I'm upset about seeing CC; seen them once, and they killed it, but I've never seen Immolation live

Necrot and Blood Incantation are gonna be sickkk though. Seen them both once already, and once this tour comes around, it'll be my 3rd time seeing Necrot; saw them once before in Los Angeles at Resident when they played with Mysticism, Deadbeat, and Mortal Wound (sick local band; check out the demo Forms of Unreasoning Fear), and I'll be seeing them on day 1 of the Los Angeles Metal and Beer Festival.
I actually got a scar on my left shin from when I saw Necrot at that Resident show; it's a tiny ass place, and the stage is literally shin height, with no barrier. I was in the front row, and the crowd was incredibly rowdy. I wasn't expecting it the first time I got slammed from behind, so I wasn't braced for it, and I pretty much fell half way onto the stage and accidentally pushed Sonny's pedal, and he had like no sound until he pushed it again, haha. The entire rest of the set, I had my right foot up on the front of the stage to brace for impact, but my left shin kept hitting up against the stage, and now there's a small red line on my shin from where it kept getting bashed against the stage. Good times.
