No, that's Nuclear Blast.

I can hear similiarities, but both bands are pretty unique. diSEMBOWELMENT are much more slow moving and focus more on isolating atmospheric elements and ambient sections, whereas Spectral Voice changes paces a lot quicker and merge most of their elements over all sections.
I don’t like making comparisons in music unless it’s especially pertinent. Spectral Voice aren’t similar enough to any other bands to bother making lazy comparisons.

I agree with your description of their differences and that both bands are unique, although I hesitate to think of a closer comp to either band's sound than the other band in this convo (as in, to someone who has never heard Spectral Voice before, but is well versed in death metal - is there a better comp?).
semantics I guess and if you're a major fan of both bands of course you're going to find the differences I guess.

Murky is a great description for this. No comparisons required. You could play this for a kid that just learned to talk and he would say 'yeah that's some murky shit m'dawg'.

Nah, there’s nothing unclear about the production on this

Yeah I'm not hearing the murk. When I think murk I think Qrixkuor or Mitochondrion. This is just heavy as elephant balls.

I hear the murk but am ok with the fact that there isn't all that much there

There isnt much mvrk here.

Over christmas I made an effort to love this album. There are some riffs and melodies and vox here and there that are just awesome - but scattered around the album there's a lot of mediocrity too.
