I keep flip flopping on this. my last comment probably said I'd decided Hammer was just better, but I think Hammer is just way more immediate, less subtle. I mean fuck this album is good.

I've never listened to Cradle. Should I jump on the bandwagon here?

Yes.

I'd probably still say Hammer is a better place to start, just for the killer intro track.

I'd say Hammer is the better place to jump in but that's not to say you won't dig this

I'm glad being a Filth lover on sput doesn't make you as much of a minority as it did 3 or 4 years ago

The guitarwork on here man, this and Hammer riff the most consistently out of Cradle's entire catalogue.

Wouldn't argue with that. Their early albums riff really hard too though, don't think that gets recognized enough.
Most of their albums riff hard as fuck tbh, but the stuff on this and Hammer is definitely next level riffage. m/

I loved Gian and Stuart as a duo but these guys are right up there with them for sure.

Drummer is a beast too.
Dani feels revitalised on the last couple of records.

Richard and Marek at the top for me.
Hammer actually got me into Cradle, Deflowering the Maidenhead was probably my most played song that year.

Ugh so hard to choose. Gian was my fav Cradle guitarist, but I loved both Paul's and I love these guys too. They brought the riffs back harder than ever.
