@Choccy I'll be seeing them for the first time (not counting a very short set at York's summer ball) in Leeds! Very excited.

Just had an initial run through of the new one in the background.
S'alright but felt like it was missing a couple of huge tracks they normally have in every album. Probably a 3.5 for now but might change with a couple more listens
@Tuna man I was away for that summer ball and I was gutted. Think the ones I went to had Example (who did like 3 songs) and Sigma

It really was great, I can't quite remember but I think they played 4 tracks, they definitely played Distant Past and Regret and then I'm pretty sure it was Breadwinner and Can't Do.

Example, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
One of my favourite musical experiences at UOY was the 2017 winter formal when we went to Kuda after, where we were told Basshunter was playing a set. I was stood on the balcony with my friend as we watched him stumble to the deck 40 mins late and drunk, rant about wanting to be young again, warning us about getting married and having kids, asking if we liked Rick and Morty and screaming "WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB" before finally playing All I Ever Wanted and Now You're Gone.

It's about on par with GTH for me, I think they complement each other really well

I always find GTH to be their more accessible and overall enjoyable album. But Fever Dream is the one that seems to hit harder, and sink deeper... If that makes sense? The stretch of tracks between Good Shot, Good Soldier and Ivory Tower is by far my favourite from these guys!
