How don't you dig this, Hawks? It rules. White Granite was, until recently, my metal soty.

That's okay. I've been jamming all their albums fairly often. They hit the spot for me. Need more good atmoblack from 2017. Shoutbox me if you have any recs I can't miss. m/m/m/

I'm at work so I can't really go through my ratings right now, but one that comes to mind immediately in terms of atmospheric bm is the new Enisum. Get on it hard if you haven't yet bro.

Will give you some more later when I get a chance. :]

I have been trying to get into more death and black metal. "White Granite" is my favorite song off the album. Would anyone happen to know more bands that play in this style. I have listened to Panopticon and Agalloch, but they don't really scratch the itch. I'm looking for something with the guitars dripping with despair and grief with full, massive vocals. Any help?

Well, this isn't death metal, it's black metal. Anyway, check out Ash Borer's self-titled album, Weakling's Dead As Dreams, Opeth's Blackwater Park and Pallbearer's Foundations Of Burden. Idk, that's a span of a few metal sub-genres, but it's a start.. I could give you hundreds of recommendations but I'll refrain.

maybe youd like Black Wreath. theyre not black metal but they have "full, massive vocals" and guitars "dripping with despair and grief."
