If you honestly think Siren Charms or Battles is more In Flames than STYE I can't have your back on that one.At least it still had metal,Battles and Siren Charms is alternative attempting to be hardcore.

To this particular thread I am I have seen this type of reaction from a plethora of other bands on here I try not to look to often to preserve brain cells people can be mindless on the net for sure.It actually don't bother me in spite of what my previous comment may believe I find lots of comedic value to be gained from hardcore fans of anything on the net personally.

I wouldn't say any metal on this album is an organic kind of metal at all but when it gets heavy it's more convincing to my ears compared to the new era stuff.They're trying to be heavy in the late 2000s/ 2010s but they COMPLETELY fall flat on their face.I never will say this album is a metal album the same way that The Jester Race and Whoracle are that would be retarded to claim but I stand by my stance on Soundtrack To Your Escape being more metal compared to Siren Charms, Battles, so on.That's what make us awesome music fans as our ears aren't wired the same as each others I enjoy contrasting opinions that adds to discussion,which I guess would make me stick out like a sore thumb on this site considering it's repuation but I could care less about that regardless.I have no issue being genuine with my opinions on any site if it gets me in trouble or demonized I just move on unchanged on my thoughts.

Yea for me they've always felt pretty organic aside from some questionable production choices. Going with Howard Benson didn't really help Battles much, although I enjoy it.
