In all seriousness though zoos are heartbreaking. Can't take watching an animal get deprived from their natural freedom.

Look at the fucking size of it. Would've pulled that child's head clean off. Either that or there would've been some instantaneous symbiotic connection and they would've had a game of scrabble if only the zoo keepers kept scrabble sets instead of shooters.

Kid just shouldn't have been able to get in, from a combo of safe enclosure and mother watching her kid. Harambe shouldn't have even been there because zoos are outdated and largely terrible.
I think it's less about the actual event, because what choice do the keepers have? Hope that he doesn't kill the kid even accidentally? They made the only call they could because had that child died the backlash would've been fucking horrendous. It's more about the situation itself even being possible.

kid shouldn't have been able to get in. there should not be any such thing as a zoo. in that particular instance the killing of harambe was nature taking course in an environment that definitely wasn't natural. the animal humans protected the young of their tribe, good or evil wasn't the issue in that case. but it is time to end zoos.
