at least it's not simply a collection of riffs in sequence like 90% of metal albums, also prog metal influence is mixed in pretty much every track tbh

I just liked how the other tracks incorporated those prog sci fi elements in a more nuanced manner. In the last 2 tracks, it's super in your face and a bit corny.

Riff salad. A poor mans Voivod. Bunch of stolen Immortal, Slayer, Metallica and judas priest riffs.

Instrumentally, this is off-the-charts good, but I just can't get into that vocal style. I'm in no way averse to harsh vocals by any means, but I just don't care how these sound and it ruins it for me a bit.
