Agreed Myth, I'll still pop it on every now and then for fun.

I can understand the sentiment for Mob Mentality and the title track, but they've grown on me. And I can't imagine Crater and Contemplation without the vocals. Both are massive performances.

Daniel Tompkins is pretty much the only reason why I don't like Shyharbor and any Tesseract album that isn't Altered State.

Music is amazing! Not sure about the singing though. Don't have anything against any of the vocalists... just meh.
I'll definitely have to give this a few more listens though.

"Disheartened from FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTING for no reward".
Vocalists fit perfectly on here, whoever was talking about lack of emotion blows my mind, the ending to Skyline is heartwarming.I love how it all breaks down to piano and drums. I actually found the instrumental stuff to be needing of vocals personally. It's not like StS or AAL where vocals just wouldn't fit with the music, feels like someone just muted the vocal tracks on those songs.
Some gnarly riffs, the ambient parts are great and the tones of everything are so crisp. Definitely a lot of eargasm moments throughout but sometimes I'm left wanting more from the instrumental songs.

Yeh the vocals fit SO well with these songs, I think songs like the title track and Crater would be a lot more boring and less emotional without vocals
